New guy needs help with color

Hey everyone I just joined today..

I decided to get the M3 and I'm planning on ordering it in 2 days..

I picked all the options out and everything but can't decide what color to
get for the car..

Do you guys think it's better to get the Spavce Grey and mod the car with matte black rims later on or go for the Jet Black exterior and keep the
stock rims?

I want to order my car ASAP but I can't decide;;

opinions please

It's your car so in the end it's up too you personally I think both colors look great. Space grey with black wheels has been done a lot but that doesn't mean it doesn't look good . But if I had the choice between the two prob space grey

If I lived in LA like you I would get the black, no question. But since I'm here in the DC area where it rains every week, I'm stuck ordering the SGM, just like my other modern BMW. Sigh. It isn't sexy but it does hide dirt.

Space grey accents/shows the car's lines better bc it's metallic (in my opinion). I drive space grey. But go with what you want. There are a lot of nice colors for this car

Space grey looks great
there is a reason BMW picked it for the Concept BMW M3 before it came out
(are those ZCP rims?, that was way before they announced the comp package)

My vote is for space gray as the jet black is brutal to keep clean. I used to have a jet black 335, and now have a space gray x5 and love it.

I deliberated on this very same subject....If youve narrowed it down to those 2 colors, Id opt for the space gray with dark wheels. I agree that the grey allows you to see the lines of the car better than black. As for me, I hemmed and hawed for a while and then chose something completely different.....Interlagos Blue. Love it!

Space Grey, hands down... when it is clean, it is unreal, when it is dirty, it looks clean. Rims will be an issue though as you will have to go silver or black, all of the gunmetal/grey rims are too similar in color. Which is what I am dealing with now...

Good luck.

Go Indiv

or between space gray and JB its a coin toss. Jet black looks insane when its clean (stated tons of times) where gray doesn't show dirt very much at all. Gray with black 359M wheels looks really really good.

if you are lazy about cleaning or anal about seeing every spec of dirt/bug/scratch, don't get black. Space grey is a nice color! Nothing beats black when it's clean though.

Saw a Frozen Silver last night with my kids in the car too. They said "nice M3 but what's up with the home-made spraycan paint job?"

Had a 135i in jet black. As soon as it was clean it was dirty.
Go space grey. I prefer it with standard 220 or 359 wheels.
