Lowering the car on b&g springs, can camber be aligned within oem spec?
Just wondering if I lower the car on b&g springs (1" front .5" back) would the camber still be able to be put within oem specs with an alignment? I don't want crazy uneven wear on the tires obviously...thanks

Can it be put to OEM specs: almost certainly, dropping an inch only adds about .3-.4 degrees of negative camber inherently, and the OEM adjusters have plenty of range to lower negative camber.
Necessary to put to OEM specs for wear: Maybe not. You are not going to get abnormal wear at only -1 or -1.5 degrees, especially if you ever drive in curvy places. I run -2.0+ and haven't experienced uneven wear. I think to get "crazy unever wear" you would have to run a ton of camber, more than is even possible with the stock adjusters. |
