Oh man... Sorry to hear this happened, some people have no respect and are outright assholes. I was at sports event and someone ripped my entire mirror off... With the auto tinting glass and folding mirror it was $1500 from the dealership. The glass alone was $300+ Luckily insurance came to the rescue haha.

Just hit up tischer for the replacement parts.

The mirror pops right out and pops right in. You just have to disconnect/connect the electrical wire. Be careful with the broken mirror so that you don't get any cuts. I took the entire thing apart below:

Sorry man - I recently had my car keyed at work (my work garage doubles as Camden Yards parking during game days) - it absolutely sucks. But at least its something that can be easily fixed... always could be worse, that is the way I tried to look at it.

i would use a clear tape across. That way, mirror fragments wont do some skin damage.

It looks like someone simply drove too close and hit it? Without leaving a note which obviously sucks. If that's the case, then fold those suckers in when you park!! I always do regardless of where I park in public!

If that was done intentionally, may that person have explosive diarrhea and nightmares of drowning for the rest of their life.

Sorry, man that sucks. I would be really pissed if this was my car. I get angry when people cut me off or won't let me merge, can't imagine if I came out to my car and saw this. I guess in the end it's only a mirror and it can be fixed. At least you still own a sweet car that can own most others on the road

What garage is this? First Mariner arena garage? I work out of our Baltimore office one day a week and park there. Only drove the M3 a couple times and crossed my fingers while working that nothing would happen to it. I will not drive my 997Turbo into that cesspool known as Baltimore City....the 4Runner only is driven down there.

To the OP --- sorry about such jealous fcukers. The mf'er that ever does anything to my vehicle better hope and pray I don't catch them in the act. Their hands/fingers will be mangled to the point where they may never use them again.

Could be worse, fortunately the damage is isolate and easy to fix, he could have keyed your car, rubbed all the way across it with a bumper.

Once I drove my p-car to the city for a night out with my friends. When I left the club, there were about 10 drunk a-holes. One of them kicked my mirror and the ten of them wouldn't let me leave the parking lot. Sure I could've killed 2-3 of them. They were short vietnamese wannabe gangsters. I'm a tall Taiwanese nerd. But I let my friends, the bouncers, make quick work of them. I left with a $250 broken mirror.

My bouncer friend called me half an hour later and said they all got arrested for harassing other club go-ers.
