Are e9x m3 only for young people?

UPDATE: HE GOT A CAR!!!! Well I know its not what everyone was hoping but it's a 2008 550i m sport black with saddle brown almost all the options with nav full list coming soon. The rims are powder coated black this car looks like one sweet badass ride takes the lame out of the 5 series. He thought the 550i with the v8 would give him plenty of power and he is in love. I have already put some black emblems on it for him he's not into modding cars but I hope I can get the mod bug to bite him. I am driving home and will put some pics up when I get home!! My dad is in his late 40's and is wanting to get a new car he use to have a BMW in the 80's and wants to get anther BMW he wants something with 2 doors and preferably manual but won't mind automatic. He wants the 2011/2012 m6 but doesnt want spend 70grand. He thinks the 3 series is only for young people and Dosent want to drive the same car as his son (335i). He thinks an m3 is out of his league and only young kids in there 20's and 30's drive it and he wouldnt look good in it this is all due to false info and misleading stereotypes. With all that said is the e9x m3 suitable for him. He's single btw this would his daily driver. Hes looking to spend 40-55k Sorry for the shitty typing I am on my phone

Yes they are only for young people. I am 41 and I had to write Norbert Reithofer for special permission to get a M3 last August. Fortunately for me they had a final slot remaining for a chronologically challenged special individual.

I am married and that was a key part of my application. Since your dad is single I just don't see this happening.

Yes absolutely M3 's are only for young people! I am 45 and very very young. I recently got engaged to a 27 year old hottie for example. And I travel around the world surfing the finest waves. I routinely have people coming up and asking "you drive an M3, how old are you"? I say guess and they say "you must be young because you drive an M3". So there is your proof.

Seriously: no, they are typically driven by middle aged people and this forum is not a representative sample for age distribution necessarily. Buy what you like, and I highly recommend the E92 M3.

I nicely equipped m3 will not be that much cheaper than 70 grand.

With that being said, who cares what people think. He should drive what he wants. And why get a big coupe if he is now single and his kids are out of the house? The m3 seems perfect for where he is in life.
