Headlight Level
Is there any way to check the level (height) of the headlights? I couple months ago I had a active headlight error and BMW had to replace on of the headlights and now when I drive at night I swear the headlight coverage is less, either that or my eyes have suddenly gone bad.

The way I checked mine was like this. Park in the garage or someplace level. Where the wall is, back your car from that wall about 20 feet. Measure the height of your headlights, by measuring from the floor to the middle of the headlight assembly. Take that measurement and measure the wall by marking the measurement that you got from the headlight assembly. Turn your headlights on and you should have to adjust up the headlights, until the top of the light shining on the wall gets closer or at the line or tape that you put on the wall. Let me know if this makes sense.

I can check during my lunch break, but isn't there a screw that you turn near the assembly (UP/DOWN adjustment)? When I did a retrofit on my 328 with LCI headlights, i couldn't find the LEFT/RIGHT adjustment and it was actually hidden under those rubber grommets

Don't adjust them unless they're already off for sure. You don't want to upset the OEM setting unless one has been altered already somehow. Otherwise, you might start blinding oncoming drivers and getting lots of flashy-flashy

This basically assume that the beam height from the lamp should be level at 20ft out with the center of the assembly correct? Isn't the left beam supposed to be a little lower than the right? I assume so as to not blind oncoming traffic?

Correct, the left beam supposed to be a little lower than the right. That is for oncoming traffic.
