Last chance to Order M3 with the V8

Guys, if you are thinking about ordering a M3 ( current model with the V8 ) time is running out. Production on the current model ends 06/2013.

You never know what the future holds.....

I remember when Camaros / Firebirds were all discontinued in 2002, people were jumping on them and dealers were asking huge markups.

If the there is a demand for a V8 in the future, BMW will bring it back.

Yeah don't know about that. I placed my order last month and have a confirm build date of this week. I was talking to the dealer last week they said that I was lucky that I placed my order when I did, as BMW Australia doesn't have enough production quota to fill all the orders and they will be some ordered that will go unfulfilled. So looks like time is really running out on the E92.

I would think that BMW NA would be in the same boat? But looks like the supply of Australian model is all but gone.

I hate to wait so got my ///M last April and have been enjoying it ever since ... no wait ... no fuss ... no sleepless nights

In the end a new 2011 or 2012 is all the same as a 2013 ,,, except for very minor change or upgrade oh yes and price increase

Congratulations to all of you above that ordered or received your ///M drive her in good health for it is the best car for the money you spend

I wouldn't order a new one, prices will drop very fast. Better to get a cpo.

I know it's the last of its kind, but I'm not sure the market buys that.

M3 Limited Edition Pickup Truck

Actually, even though the allocations for E90 and E92 are drying up, the E93 is good for awhile.

And then, BMW is planning to "bridge" the model year gap by introducing this Limited Edition M3 Pickup Truck (M3-T) beginning April 1st through October 2013.

BMW claims its M3 Pickup will hold up to 20 golf bags and is the first BMW M3 in history to come with an OEM trailer tow hitch.

I was thinking the same thing but honestly could not find a CPO that was priced well enough to make it worth not buying new. For example, saw a couple 2011/2012 with about 9k miles for ~$64-66K asking price. Got mine new for $68k --well worth getting a brand new one for that minor price increase, at least for me.

He is the second guy to post a "last chance at the M3 V8" around here lately right? As if we didn't know...lol. Sorry man, you get hammered here as a FNG. You need to put up posts like: "my new M3 just got off the boat, my mods have started" or "new supercharger" or "new carbon fiber ashtray"....stuff like that, and everyone will reply "looks good" or "sweet!" Anyone posting stuff like, "my dealer told me I need to order my car tomorrow or else I will miss out" will get flamed hard.

BMW Wins 2013 Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Award for Best Overall Luxury Brand. Don't count on prices going down any time soon. BMW is currently on fire with sales. If anything prices will be going up for the last M3.
