Help...Limp Mode!
I had an Increased Emissions a long time ago, after replacing fuel cap and DMTL pump the error came back. I took it to the dealer and they told me the Vent Valve (Purge Vale) was bad and my Thermostat was open.
So, I decided to do the labor myself. To solve the "Increased Emissions" I changed the Vent Valve and I replaced the thermostat to solve the error code# 2B59 (for the thermostat open error). I way I refill the radiator with coolant could cause the thermostat error to show up? So, after I replaced the Vent Valve and Thermostat this past Saturday. I turned the engine on and the car seems to run well, I did not drive it until this morning!. After driving aprox 1mile drive, I got the check engine light and went to Limp Mode. My car did not have any Throttle Actuator symptoms, but it looks like I need to replace it!!! Could it be that I did not install the Air Manifold correctly? or If I did not disconnect the battery when I change the thermostat and vent valve?? I'm starting to get frustrated with this car guys...... Any help will be great! Jose Photos of the Errors: |

I agree that it could be the throttle actuator problem. It seems to be popping up frequently especially on 2008 model cars. My passenger side one failed a couple of weeks ago. Still waiting on a replacement part.

I can check the fittings and clear the code....Drive one mile and if the error shows back, it has to be the Throttle Actuator...which I can't believe it is.....What a coincidence that I replaced two parts and a mile later I need to replace the T.Actuators...
