I shouldn't have gone on a test drive

Well after reading the forum and seeing all the talk of how great the m3 was, I went to go see for myself. I just want to say all you guys suck! After the test drive I knew I was about to make a poor financial decision. I was having day dreams of the engine note while the sales man was talking to me

I only consoled myself by saying it was used and a four door so I was being responsible. Can't believe people actually compared this to a 335i.

It's a 2011 AW/ FR extended leather sedan with comp and the works.

Not only I had always wanted an M3, but considering its the first M3 with a V8 and the last M3 breed, I caved in on my '13 E92. Yeah, it was instant joy after my initial test drive!

For $75k, I thought to myself there's gotta be other cars with more power but over all, in terms of performance, looks and value retention... the M3 hands down for me!

Yes, I could have used that money on other things in life but lets face it, you only live once right and you gotta do what really makes you happy!!

It's funny, I actually didn't understand what all the hype was about the 1st and only time I test drove it. I didn't buy one until almost 2 years later. Knew it was better than the 328i I was driving at the time but couldn't quite quantify on a brief test drive. I ordered the car in 2011 and could not be more pleased. I have very low miles so I actually learn something new, exciting and intriguing about the car almost every time I drive it. The car is a masterpiece for the money. The people's practical sportscar.

Bizarre, a 328 literally feels like a completely different car. I agree test drives don't do this m3 justice given you need to get over 6k to really hear the best sound, feel the power and get the most out of the car but nonetheless it feels special immediately.

And so it is with the M3....fair warning to all of you who haven't made the trip to the dealership yet to just look and take a test drive.
