Arrow Fess up - last time you've been to the track, or hit the backroads just to drive?

Just a little friendly motivation to get out there and use this car the way it's meant to be! Life always gets in the way; I'm itching to get out for a long drive (nur für das Fahrvergnügen) soon. Unfortunately, there are very few good long, twisty sections within an hour of my place...

I was at Motorsport Ranch - Cresson with The Driver's Edge the second weekend of June (the only E9x M3 out there that weekend ):

And I just scheduled a drive with the boys from work for the morning of the 10th - a nice, long loop between here and Arkansas. It will be a going-away drive for one them; he's selling his car and moving to Calgary. At least we're getting in one last blast!

How 'bout it guys (and gals)? When was your last time out, and when's your next?

I live in the boonies and get to drive over a windy mountain pass a couple of times a week.

Well, at least until winter starts

March, 2013? but look at my impressive post count!

btw, Dave, can't believe you track your moonroof'd civic 6MT. I mean, look at that leviathan, it's about to flip the car due to the weight of the moon on your roof and your slow shifting

Once a week, I take the toy out for a long backroad drive, destination PA Pocono Mountains. The drive there just erases all of the BS in my life. But the drive back home puts the smile back on my face.

Priceless moments.

Ha! The hole in the roof did provide some much-appreciated ventilation, and since we were running the short track, I actually left it in 3rd the entire time.

3 weeks ago on the mountainside passes of Vermont when I was there for a wedding. Before that I never have. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the experience. Windows down, radio/music off, and just the S65 screaming
