To help bash the X3, they celebrated how great the M3 is/was. Anyone know what the 1000 pound get 4000 pound special edition was?

I watched that episode twice last night and i saw that segment of the episode 3 times lol. Clarkson was going in on the M, and its a good thing all the "bleeps" went over to audi

American TV sucks. Those "bleeps" don't even exist on the actual BBC torrents of the show from the UK.

I might also add you can get the show that way Sunday evening, instead of waiting for the US version on Monday.

So the torrent for mondays show is already out sunday night? I know theres a time difference but they get those torrents up quick if thats what your saying

The show airs Sunday in the UK -- the time difference means that by around 7-8PM EST the UK show has already aired, been ripped/encoded and uploaded. Up to date links can usually be found on http://www.eztv.it

It was a DVD released in November 2012, and was never aired; they finally did a broadcast.

(Probably, they felt bad about having only a six-episode Season 20 this time around!)

Saw that segment last night for the first time. I wonder what this edition was. Looked very similar to the Edition M3 which had blacked out stock 19s and black chrome kidney and gill bits.

In any case, nice to see them choose the M3 to hoon around in to demonstrate that BMW makes amazing cars outside of the X3.

He used to say great things about BMW cars, but shit on the brand. I guess it was the cool/popular brand, and he's a bit of a contrarian so he went against the stream. How many times have you heard him say 'I would pick this because it's worse'. Dozens.

Now Audi is getting 'the cool brand' popularity (movie stars and crap), so Clarkson bashes everything Audi and can give well deserved praise to the special BMW cars like the E9X M3, without being too mainstream.
