I own neither, but I did alot of research on the GT before buying the M3 and DD another variant of the cayenne S.

MGT:

maybe the GTMC or GTSport?

the normal GT would be a step down from the m3 in terms of performance.

PCaye:

if you need the space, go for a panamera S or GTS.

I went from a e90 m3 to a GT-R, C63, and then q7 before coming back to the E92 M3. Found my sweet spot and im staying here.
