LOL 30HP

Just had to share this one. I pulled up to the car wash today and noticed a new M5 followed by a E92 M3. As they passed I saw a Dinan exhaust on the M3. I quickly walked over because I'm debating grabbing one for my car. As I was talking to the guy I quickly figured out he didn't know what the fuck he was talking about. He told me the exhaust added 30hp and I sorta zoned him out after that lol. Know your facts people hahahah.

LOL, maybe I don't know my facts but if you have the Dinan Midpipe (+23HP) and Dinan Rear Section (+a couple), combined, isn't that +30hp??

It says +23hp from their website with just the mid pipe

If he has the full system, 30 HP isn't a HUGE stretch. It's probably more realistically 25 HP.

$13 for basic touchless exterior wash? seems pretty expensive...any other options in the area that's cheaper for touchless? and closer?

He could have got 30hp no prob if he had the whole exhaust and a dinan stage 2 tune.

Depends on how picky you are. I will only go to a few different ones and they range from $15-$30. Do you live in SF?

Sounds good. I was thinking about going with the 4.6l engine from Dinan. The only thing holding me back right now is giving up my car for a week+. It's my DD.

yes, in SF, any good places here? IMO $15-30 for an exterior auto wash is too much. But it must be a CA thing...

It's touchless exterior and interior cleaning also with tire dressing etc etc. If you want to go the self serve route, there is one on Geary near Spruce. I don't know the exact address. There's also one down on 6th St and Folsom(ish). I haven't been to either one of these in years.

Just about anyone on here can afford the mod. It's only 6k after core refund......but yeah you have a point on the rental haha.

sounds like we all value $6k differently. Note $6k is the materials charge, you have about 24 hours labor ahead of you too, plus tax, you'll probably be out $8k after it's all said and done.
