is that 208 miles? I get between 230-280 on normal driving, if I stick at 70ish on long journeys its circa 400, has been as long as 150 mind you (non track)

2008 BMW M3  [7.50]
2015 BMW M3  [0.00]

Usually I get 200-230 but I drive mostly city and have a lead foot.

I've achieved roughly 340 in the past on a long freeway drive averaging about 80mph with an extremely light foot.

Too late for a poll? I'm get about 120-155 a tank I would say. My best ever was when I had to go from LA to SD. Whatever that distance is, I probably got that before I had about 25 miles left before I had to refill.

401 miles when I bought the car and drove it back to Philly from Charleston, SC. Cruise Control at 77 mph all the way.

Nowadays it is more like 225-235

Daily driven (spirited, but nothing crazy)...traffic with some highway speeds. I start looking for a place to refuel around 175-200.

Refilling with range indicating 50-70 miles...
City only = 160-180 miles
Highway only @ 70 mph and faster = ~260 miles

Most miles covered with one tank = 371 miles (range read 9 miles, fill up put 18.9 gallons in the tank)

I usually fill up at around the 140 mi mark and get 14 gallons in the tank.

Best average around town was 11 mpg.
Worst was 9.3 mpg.
It doesn't help that I have a sub 2 mi commute and when I take the long way home to "charge the battery" I tend to hit that little resistance spot with the throttle repeatedly.

Shocker
I find that to be interesting. If I do a decent mix of driving with some "fun sessions" added in, I'm filling up at 170.

The best I've achieved thus far is 321 miles in a tank with 9 miles left. I usually average around 280 miles per tank. This is with the crappy Philly and D.C. metro traffic.

Could've done 350 if I filled the tank all the way, but -10 degrees was to cold for me to add 30 miles.

Cant be that crappy of traffic if you are getting 280 miles to the tank. True stop and go traffic (like I sit in every day unfortunately) will yield you around 230 miles at best. Then again, I dont want until im running on fumes to fill up.

You guys all must never mash the throttle. I'm 100% city....in fact I can't remember the last time I was on a highway for even 100 yards. It's just not possible to run past 160 for me. That's also on a good week.

Winter tires help a lot by ~2mpg. I've get 22-24mpg highway. Also ethanol free 93 octane helps. I don't baby it though but If I really wanted to I could get over 350 miles, but what kind of fun is that.
