Question about pathway lighting

I'm in a 2010 e92 335xi right now, looking to move into an 09-2010 e92 M3. I searched but couldn't find an answer.

Do e92 M3s come with pathway lighting?

Minor detail, but I would actually miss it..

If you mean the underside light in the door, then yes.

I think he is referring to the headlights staying on after the car has been turned off. If so, yes. The duration is controlled through iDrive.

Yes, and it is customizable in the idrive menu in reference to how long you would want it to stay on.

Even e46's have it, you just have to press the hibeam lever forward (as if you were flashing your headlights) and the path lights stay on for 30 seconds.

Yep. And you can also code your car so that pressing the trunk release button on the fob turns the headlamps and other running lights on -- which kind of creates a weird situation. If you actually do want to open the trunk, now if you hold the button for not long enough, you fire up your lights, and if you hold it too long, you set off the alarm. You need Goldilocks timing to execute the primary function of the button.
