KW Sleeve Kit Vorshlag Camber plate install settings?
My car is currently in the shop now and they are installing:
KW Sleeve over kit H&R Front Sway Bar Vorshlag front camber plates ACM Test pipe I had found in a forum where for the sleeve over kit someone basically recommended a 3.25 gap front and back from fender edge to top of rim. I am guessing this would still be a good recommendation with the camber plates? I thought I read somewhere that the camber plates allow for a little more travel or something? Also from what I understand I want negative camber for the track. Can someone advise me as what would be a good setting for this considering the other parts etc? |

Height is all a matter of preference. Lower does not necessarily mean better. In an ideal world, you would want your rear lower camber links to be pretty even in order to keep the original geometry of the car. I can't remember off the top of my head, but around an inch or so all around should be sufficient. Make sure to align your car (possibly corner-balance if you plan on tracking) after the adjustments are made.
For normal driving you will want your camber settings to be not that aggressive to extend your tire life. I usually suggest around -1.5* to -2* for just daily driving. When you hit the track you should use anywhere from -2.5* or lower. Hope this gives you a starting point. -Mike |

No, someone correct me if I am wrong but the front has at least -1* based upon your suspension components (i.e. front tension arm and lower wishbone). The rear can be set at whatever you desire but usually factory is at least -1* as well. And take into consideration that when you lower the car you are adding negative camber.
