Hifi Audio vs Individual Audio
Hey guys, just recently test drove a 2011 E92 M3 with the individual audio option and while the highs were nice and crisp there seemed to be an apparent void in the bass department compared to the hifi audio in my E92 335i. Has anyone else noticed this and is there any way to bring out the bass sound? Already turned the bass all the way up in settings to test it but no luck. Thanks for suggestions.

I agree with OP. I have the premium/indiv audio and tried the EQ settings from that thread but it only boosted the very low bass. Which resulted in a rather unpleasant booming spoken voice sound. But something is missing between the medium and bass. I 'm back to defaults but need to try custom setting some more..
Hate to say it but my 1992 maxima with oem Boose audio was several orders better sounding than this BMW audio. I attribute it to the speakers which looked 50% bigger and the cabin was also bigger which created a better sound space. I tend to listen to the engine most of times which is why it hasn't bothered me too much. |
