Ordered my X5 XDrive35d - Searching for accessories
New member, and first post to the forum. I'd first like that thank everyone for the wealth of information to be found here. This forum was my #1 resource for making the decision to order an X5 and what options I selected.
Now the search begins for 2014 X5 accessories. I've found a few references to items I'm searching for buried in threads but thought it would be helpful to have a thread dedicated to accessories. I'm looking for the following items, and am asking for any leads on where to purchase them: *) Gloss black kidney grille *) Orange front side reflector replacements (clear or painted) *) Floor matts (OEM or 3rd party) *) Mud guards If there are accessories you've purchased for your new X5, please share what they are and where you purchased them. Thanks again |

Welcome. Check IND for the grills. I also ordered the 35d and am thinking of adding black grills.

If you do not have Night Vision, you can order the regular gloss black M Performance grilles from BMW. They are an original accessory.
If you have Night Vision, iND is the way to go.

Are the grills exactly the same on the 2013 and 2014 X5 35?

What the others said about the black kidney grilles. BMW OEM (non-Night vision) is MUCH cheaper than the iND versions. You can get painted reflectors from iND also. I have them but haven't figured out how to install them yet. I'm told that I might have to remove both front/rear bumpers to do that.
Rubber mats from BMW works great..haven't seen mudflaps yet. |

Mats either weather tech or BMW, latter has two rubber styles.
Mudflaps BMW has them for non-M version. I got m/flaps on F25 but not for F15, latter has thermoplastic fenders. |

I got the OEM with BMW logo Carpet Liner not the Rubber Mat. Higher edges for liquid control and the rear is one piece all around with velcros underneat. Works great!
