Will a BMW dealer diagnose a BMW with a retrofitted CIC?

Fairly straight forward question

Can / will a BMW dealership do a full diagnostic (physical + mechanical) on a car that has a retrofitted CIC?

Thanks!

A dealer sells and repairs cars to make money for themselves and to pay their employees. I would think that diagnosing a stock car is something they do on a regular basis, fairly quickly, and they expect that most people will have their car fixed and they make their money from parts and labor.

With a complicated, modded car, I would expect them to charge their hourly rate for troubleshooting. They would have no idea what to expect, what wiring, etc changes, mistakes, etc might have been made. They could spend hours troubleshooting, only to find a broken wire (no parts/no labor to repair). It is a business.
