Very nice same colour and interior as mine. I had no choice with spec as a cancelled order. As you say great car. Did you order the all season tyres?? What make and type are they ??

Glad it's arrived at last! Looks great...

Good to see you got Continentals instead of Dunlops!

Thanks Parm. Yes, looking forward to the car having The Treatment next week; Body, Glass, Leather & Tyres should make it easier to manage

20 all seasons did seem odd, as no such RFT. I'm sure your dealer will take care of you, if you contain your new found happiness. Enjoy each ride.

Hi 'Barca', the business manager called me this morning....they have the email from the sales guy at the dealer saying they are AS RFs. have told them I would not have accepted car yesterday if I had known this.
Have asked him for options as to how they fix this issue...he said they want to keep their customers happy, which I am all for!

Always easier when they are cooperative. Customer happiness leads to future sales. And the winner is... everyone.

Maybe ask for a free set of winter Pirelli Scorpion 20 in run flat tyres. They do staggered size and are BMW approved.

I thought of that...had been in contact with Black Circle about cost.
- but they are not SSR/RF.
Not surprising that they have none and won't have until August/September.
Will be interesting to see what option my dealer comes back with but that is my preference.

Update on Tyres...

GM from the dealership rang; They have admitted that they should not have advised that BMW do supply AS RF for 20" wheels.

He is offering to go 50/50 on a set of Winter tyres..these retail at around £333/each tyre.

What does the team think?

Thoughts on a post card..........thanks.

It seems like a reasonable solution. The question is are you satisfied with having to spend more money?

Just for my clarification as I'm putting together a wish to place an order, Are the winter tires (or tyres to you ) all season? Are they run flat?

See if they'll go 50/50 on a full 19" wheel/tire package. Save your 20s the wear of winter and mounting/balancing.
