Two questions:

1. How's the sound level (dB) compared to other systems (Remus, Akra, etc?)

2. Do you offer any mid-pipe that pairs with the Eisenmann so I don't have to cut anything?

My Eisenmann should be delivered sometime tomorrow. I’ll post some pictures/sound clips and let everyone know how it pairs with my AA EL once I get it installed.

Curious to hear. The AA EL mid is great over oem. I find in sport + and trans in D3 she sings (or screams depending lol). Are you able to maintain the oem in car valve control with the Eisenmann or is it a separate remote control type of set up? I like being able to keep cold starts down with the valves closed, and the decel can be pretty mean, but mid range of the oem axleback is still almost a bit lacking for lack of quality better term?

Yes it retains the OEM valve controls. I didn’t want to have to hassle with a separate remote so the valvetronic style systems were a no go for me. Yeah hoping it opens up the exhaust just a bit more for sure.

Box came a little roughed up but thankfully it was intact! The exhaust is a thing of beauty! Install was a breeze and it matched up perfectly with the AA EL.

Can’t seem to post the videos of the cold start and comfort/Sport+ revs. It sounds glorious though! I’ll keep trying to figure it out.

Were they plug-and-play? No cutting or welding needed? So I'm guessing it bolts straight from the downpipes?

It was a perfect match with the Active Autowerk equal length midpipe that I previously installed, no cutting required. If you intend to leave your OEM secondary cats and resonators you have to cut the stock exhaust in order for this to fit up.

Not that I’ve experienced and I spent all day driving around. I’d say if I really try and listen there is a really mild drone like tone around 2k rpm but it’s so minor it would be easy to confuse it with engine noise. Plus the cabins are really well insulated which helps a bit I think.

I had an Eisenmann Rase on my 01 E46 M3 when it was new. The damn thing fell apart within 2 years.

Yes, the AA EL midpipe removes the secondary cats and resonators.

Anyone install the Eisenmann exhaust with the included optional resonator delete?

I presume the resonator delete is in lieu of a midpipe? Basically the back half of a midpipe (where the resonators are)?

When installing with any replacement center pipe, you would install the Eisenmann rear without using the included optional resonator delete section, but please confirm center pipe specs with IRL.

Correct; when purchasing the rear system, you can either install only the rear section to maintain both your OE center resonators or you can remove the 2nd resonator and replace with the included resonator delete section.

Or you can also purchase the full replacement center section (available with or without center resonator), in which case you won't use the optional resonator delete section that comes with the rear section since the full center section integrates that portion.

OE Center with included Eisenmann rear resonator delete:
