Yes, that does sounds like a good sign for you, mburg. At this point in your build it would not be removed.

The invoice the dealer gave me showed the $350 credit for satellite delete, this was before the car was built. I just checked and the car has a status of Ready To Ship. Is there any way to tell if the car got Sirius other than wait until arrives and check?

The first link worked, thanks! Is there a decoder for the decoder? There's a lot of weird items listed that make no sense to me. But I do see it has preparation for satellite radio listed.

I put my order in last week. My build is showing scheduled for production and has the HUD and Satlite Radio listed. However, they deleted lumbar support and we've been going back and forth to get it at least added in for the driverside. We succeded this afternoon. Now its showing lumbar support in the build too.

I had to add one of the upgraded leather options for their system to open up the addition of lumbar to driver side, otherwise it wouldn't work. So now I'm paying the upgraded leather option. A pretty crappy work around, but I'm 6'4" and really need the back support on my long commutes. It will be worth it for me in the long run I think.

Should be. I got the package added and still showing added in my build which was entered last week. If anyone is concerned about parts availability you can call their BMW Corporate Genius line and they will confirm for you regarding pretty much any questions. They are incredibly helpful, its what the reps are paid to do.

I’ve noticed when you build on the BMW website it doesn’t show the XM credit anymore, but it’s also not listed as a standard feature which is odd.
Are they just not putting it in anymore and not giving a credit to boot? I haven’t ordered one yet, waiting to sit and drive one mid-November. |

Found this-- possibly it also means other options are better supported now.
https://www.ceoutlook.com/2021/11/17...usxm-hd-radio/ Update: A spokesman for SiriusXM said, “As BMW has stated, industry-wide supply issues impacting automotive manufacturing around the world have resulted in temporary limitations on the availability of some options or equipment. The number of affected vehicles equipped with SiriusXM was limited, and BMW has been back to installing SiriusXM as standard equipment for a number of weeks.” Last edited by DSTR; 11-24-2021 at 11:11 AM.. |
