I would not want to lower the front more than the rear..I want to keep the car ballance as stock. Adding front rake will lower the rear traction.
From what I see all the non HAS springs lowers the front more than the rear, only for the look.

Swift spec R lowers front and rear both 1.3”

Thanks mate! Yes this is the USA pro kit E10-20-057-01-22.

Some here reported rubbing with the kit, some not, so I installed RKP modified liners at the same time for peace of mind. But if you want to save $$ you can also trim the fins in the liners like others have done, if they end up rubbing at all.

Can anyone with the eibach kit measure the heights from wheel cap to fender for me please - particularly the rears?

Ive just done eibach pro kits (US vers with part number ending in 22) and the rear looks a bit high to me still.

3" 3/4 from top of wheel to fender on passenger side, a hair more on the driver side. I had mine installed ~1 week ago, did not drive too much on them, so probably not fully settled.

OK guys, I am thinking about possibly getting lowering springs instead of a HAS kit but have some questions. By getting lowering springs, would I have to worry about getting "bump stops" or shock travel? Sorry if this does not make sense, I am rather new with modding and suspension as a whole. I was thinking about going with Eibach lowering springs. They seems to go low enough to remove the wheel gap but not too low where I would be scrapping. I have a front lip that I will be installing on the car so I want to be mindful of that. Any other good options out there that I should look at? I was thinking 20mm drop would be OK. Could I go lower without worrying about messing up the front lip?

FWIW, but perhaps out of place here, I have the port installed HAS. I chose this over other lowering options primarily for the warranty.
It is fully lowered.
The height from wheel cap to fender is 3 1/2”.

Looking to get into a G87 and have been test driving.

Drove a G87 over the weekend that had KW HAS and the ride sucked - bouncy as hell.

For those running Eibach, is the ride bouncy?

Have you driven a stock one to compare? I would say they are a bit jiggly already.

I have driven several stock G87 and I found the ride comfortable - I am however used to the F87 which rides a bit rougher, stock for stock.

The G87 M2 I drove with KW HAS was set to lowest height which may have been the problem. I definitely would not want to daily drive that set up.

Height does not affect the ride. The spring rate does.

Unless it is so low it is bottomed out on the bump stops.

I came from an F87 M2C on Bilstein B16 and it felt somewhat similar to the G87 stock. B16 was a significant improvement in ride compared to stock in the F87.

I am leaning towards coilovers for my G87 for this reason, I’m also worried I won’t enjoy the ride with a HAS kit.

Dampers, in general, have linear compression rates. They are not progressive springs. They restrict the speed the oil in them moves from one place to the other. The valving does not change with piston depth.

Thanks for the explainer, that makes sense to me. Hitting bump stops is a pretty obvious event in my experience and undesirable of course, if the only factor effecting the ride is the spring rate we should be having much more conversation about comparing spring rates between all of these kits using the stock dampers, HAS or not.

Is the KW G87 specific or the same as the G80/82? They don't make a MP HAS specifically for the G87 for example. I read that the stock front springs are stiffer on the G87 compared to the G80/82.

So I'm wondering if putting front springs tuned for the softer G80/82 on a G87 could cause the ride to be more "bouncy".

Eibach lowering springs are specifically for the G87, and the Pro Kit on my G87 is definitely not bouncy, just a little stiffer than stock.
